Wimbledon is a yearly tradition for the people of Britain and around the world and whether you like tennis or not, we always find ourselves glued to the TV.
Wimbledon is the oldest tennis competition in the world, founded in 1877, and is regarded as the most prestigious.
Here are some impressive facts and figures, and interesting quotes from the stars of the show.
And how’s this for a stat?! The overall attendance in 2016 was a massive 493,928 compared to 484,391 in 2015.
