Donald Trump has declared US election victory as he addressed supporters this morning.
The Republican candidate has won the crucial swing states of Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia overnight – and is now just four electoral college votes away from confirming victory.
Speaking in Florida, Trump thanked his family, running mate JD Vance and the American people for their support throughout the campaign.
He said: “I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honour of being elected your 47th president and your 45th president.
“America has given us an unprecedented and powerful mandate.”
"We're going to help our country heal, we have a country that needs help, and it needs help very badly"

“I will fight for you and your family and your future, every single day I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body.”
Projections show Trump is also on course to win the popular vote, something which he failed to do in both 2016 and 2020.
Kamala Harris is not expected to speak until later today, according to her campaign chair.
