Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a teenager was raped in a Manchester hotel.
On Saturday October 12, 2013, two girls were visiting the city for a night out where they met two men and spent the evening socialising with in various pubs and bars.
Later on in the evening the group went back to a hotel on Portland Street where the two girls were staying.
When they arrived at the room both girls got into bed but were followed by one of the men.
Police believe the man then raped one of the girls, who is 18.
Police have now released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
Detective Sergeant Claire Phythian from the Serious Sexual Offences Unit said: “We have been working hard to track down the offender and we are now in a position to release this image of a man who we are very keen to speak to.
“If you recognise him, or this is you, please contact police urgently.
“We would also ask anyone who has any information about this incident who we may not have spoken to yet, to call us.”
Anyone with information should call police on 0161 856 1911 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
