As Christmas approaches and shops re-open it is inevitable people will be keen to do their Christmas shopping – but the Trafford Centre warns shoppers to be careful over this festive period.
Christmas is the busiest time of the year for the Trafford Centre with their decorations and festivities bringing in thousands each year.
It is anticipated that this year will be the same.
The Trafford centre have put in place measures to keep their shoppers safe with capacity restrictions , hand sanitising stations , a marked one way system and regular deep cleans of key areas and touchpoints such as escalators, toilets and keypads.
The centre will also comply with government guidelines and face coverings must be worn at all times.
Zoe Inman , Centre Director said: “Since the start of the pandemic, we’ve had robust and adaptable plans to ensure the safety of everyone who visits and works at the Trafford Centre , and these strong safety measures will continue as non-essential shops open again”
Shoppers may have to wait to go in if they arrive at a busier time so it is asked that shoppers dress in warm clothes in case they have to wait but shoppers can check how busy the centre is before arriving on traffordcentre.co.uk
The Trafford Centre isn’t as busy earlier on in the day and later at night and they are asking shoppers to consider visiting during these times to take pressure off the centre during busier times.
