Images of a man suspected of stealing a mobile phone left on the counter of a fried chicken store last month in Higher Broughton have been released.
A woman had left her iPhone4 on the counter of Chicken Cottage on Bury Old Road at around 2.45am on July 8 but found it missing when she went back to collect it.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they now want to speak to.
Police Constable Denis Casey said: “This is not a paltry offence, the victim’s mobile containing important information has been stolen and we are keen for it to be returned to her.
“If you know the person in the image please contact us.”
