A man escaped with his life after flipping a lorry on its side, causing major delays on the M60 – and leaving the motorway scattered with flattened Crunchy Nut cereal boxes.
Miraculously, the driver of the HGV walked away with only minor injuries, and no-one else was hurt in the accident.

But two lampposts have been damaged and a large number of cardboard boxes were scattered everywhere – all of which seemed to be Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut boxes.

The incident, which occurred around 2pm, saw several lane closures and diversions put in place at the Eccles Interchange.
The exit slip road for the M62 Westbound towards Liverpool was closed, along with the slip road to the M602 Eastbound.

All traffic was being diverted onto the M602 to Salford.
The North West Motorway Police have warned motorists to avoid the area.
