Semen smearer pleads guilty to five counts of wiping ejaculate on Bury schoolgirls – and dog poo on car

By Glen Keogh

The Bury man who smeared semen on the clothing of schoolgirls pleaded guilty to the sordid offences this morning.

Dale Cranshaw, 29, pleaded guilty to five charges of sexual assault at Bolton Crown Court as well as pleading guilty to a separate charge of criminal damage for smearing dog excrement on a car.

The charges are in relation to incidents which occurred between November 2009 and January 2010 in Unsworth, Whitefield, Bury town centre and Prestwich where girls were approached by a man and discovered a sticky white substance on their clothing.

Cranshaw, of Calder Crescent, Whitefield, is also charged with a similar offence from February this year.

He could now face jail for his crimes, however the case has been adjourned for a psychiatric and pre-sentence report.

Cranshaw will remain in custody until he is sentenced on June 3.
