Stunningly beautiful former Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan has become Manchester’s crowning glory by winning the coveted UK’s sexiest woman title.
The Irlam-born babe claimed top-spot in FHM’s annual poll, beating competition from hotties such as Cheryl Cole, Emma Stone and Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke.
She also beat fellow soap star and Mancunian Helen Flanagan, who was crowned last year’s champion.
And Michelle just narrowly missed out on becoming the world’s number one, but was pipped at the post by American actress and heart-throb Jenifer Lawrence.
Sexy star Michelle said: “I’m totally taken back by this, it really does mean a lot.
“Thank you so much to the readers of FHM and everyone who took the time and voted for me, I’m so flattered.
“I believe that being sexy isn’t wearing lots of heavy make-up or having the perfect hair or figure, it’s about self-confidence, being comfortable with yourself, smiling and being happy.”

Michelle has been regularly nominated for Sexiest Female at the British Soap Awards and will head into this year’s edition as a heavy favourite.
The soap star, who plays Tina McIntye in the hit-TV show, has been snapped flaunting her elegant figure in a plethora of exotic locations over the past year and it seems that the UK can’t get enough.
The 26-year-old has delighted fiancé and reality star Mark Wright with her win ahead of the pair tying the knot later this year.
The TOWIE star took to Instagram to post a selfie of himself topless after hearing his future wife had claimed top-prize.

Despite taking the title last year, Bury’s Helen Flanagan has slipped out of the top 10, falling to 14 on the list.

In the annual poll, Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence was named the Sexiest Woman in the World after a successful year which saw the 23-year-old earn her second Golden Globe Award for a brilliant performance in American Hustle.
This wasn’t to everyone’s liking though, as some fans vented their frustrations on social media sites.

The Hunger Games actress succeeded last year’s winner, Mila Kunis, who slipped to sixth place and is expecting her first child with Ashton Kutcher.
