A womens-only event will take place in Manchester City Centre this month to tackle the broad spectrum of women’s health.
SIRENS, a Manchester-based non-profit community for professional women will present a panel of expert women speakers at Green Arches on March 28.
Aligning with Women’s History Month, the free event will cover topics such as neurodiversity in women, antenatal education and trans health.
SIRENS founder Dr Caty Flynn said: “Through the panel we hope to offer a glimpse into the intersectional spectrum of the women’s health landscape.
“We must be aware of the nuances in order to shape the strong, unified voice required to truly change the future of women’s healthcare and wellbeing.”
The full panel of speakers will be revealed soon, and they will address themes such as barriers, research, diagnosis and treatment in women’s health.
The panel will be followed by a Q&A, group activity and networking time where there will be drinks and outdoor seating.
The event will run from 5-9pm and you can get your ticket and more information here.
SIRENS is the Sisterhood for Interdisciplinary Research, Exploration, Networking, & Synthesis, a volunteer-led, non-profit, intersectional and interdisciplinary community for professional women, based Online and in Manchester.
