Greater Manchester microbusinesses and entrepreneurs are being offered the chance to attend fully funded workshops facilitated through Manchester Metropolitan University’s Centre for Enterprise.
OPEN SME, funded by the European Regional Development Fund, is an on-demand, fully funded business toolkit that aims to bring university best practices, support and guidance to your own home, in your own time.
The online course helps uncover areas for development and consolidate strengths through a series of hour-long learning modules.
Designed for the UK’s 5.2 million microbusinesses, OPEN SME recognises that these entrepreneurs face unique challenges particularly in the current economic climate.
In addition to the platform – which includes topics around digital, finance, marketing and models and people – the Centre for Enterprise is offering small business owners the chance to access academic expertise and management training at no cost to them.
The tailored workshops run over two days and will help you to explore options for growing your business, give you tools and insights into how to address key challenges by turning these into opportunities and how to build actionable steps to make simple but powerful changes in your business.
All too often, small business leaders know they need to stay competitive but finding the time to strategise is tricky. These workshops will give you the headspace to work on your business and not just in it.
Workshops taking place on 16 and 23 May in Rochdale or 17 and 24 May in City Centre Manchester.
