Manchester venue Grub hosted a special plant-based food festival dedicated to Veganuary.
Veganuary was set up in 2014 to encourage people to eat a plant-based diet for 31 days, and last year the scheme had more than 600,000 people sign up with the non-profit who originally set up the scheme.
Plant-based foods have become increasingly available with fast-food chains like McDonalds and Burger King offering vegan friendly burgers.
In Manchester the popularity of meat-free restaurants like Bundobust and Vegan Revolution show the growing amount of plant-based options on offer.
MM went along to the Grub festival to speak to vendors and visitors about whether they thought the scheme was helping fuel the popularity of plant-based diets.
