MM can confirm that it really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Hilton.
The hotel – located in Deansgate – is proudly embracing all things festive on the run up to December 25.
This includes opening its very own pop-up ski lodge on the ground floor and transforming the skyscraper’s fabulous Cloud 23 into a ‘Winter Wonderland’.
Known as the The Deansgate Lodge, the street level bar looks set to entice countless visitors over the holidays.
WELCOMING: The entrance from the street
There’s a whole array of festive-themed beverages to enjoy in there, including warm mulled wine, spicy apple cider and cocktails with Copper Dog Whisky.
The layout is exceptionally cosy, with a roaring fire and a wooden lodge-like bar.
Arguably, it’s the food that will appeal to most people –those shopping or working in the city centre – throughout November and December.
Amongst the small plates being served are mini wurst brioche split rolls, Emmental and cheddar fondue, lobster mac ‘n’ cheese, mini stollen bites and coconut baked macaroons.
COSY: The lodge will keep people warm this winter
Meanwhile, 23 floors up is the Jacquart Ice Palace in Cloud 23.
It’s Christmas in a glass here thanks to the choice of cocktails – one of which includes a candy cane.
In addition, the hotspot – which boasts a view voted the best in Manchester – is offering a delicious Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea.
TREATS: These festive goodies will be hard to resist over the holidays
The savoury treats include Parma ham and chive cream cheese, a poached salmon and caviar blini stack, a roasted butternut squash and feta parcel, pigs in blankets with honey mustard glaze, and cranberry and brie quiche.
These are complemented by a gingerbread Christmas tree, mince pies, a coconut macaroon snowman, Christmas fruit cake, candy canes, and a tart cherry scone with jam and clotted cream.
This delicious festive taste sensation is available for £45 per person from Friday, November 24.
