Hundreds of people queued for two hours for a free taste of the newest restaurant in Manchester city centre.
Neapolitan-inspired eatery Forbici opened its doors last Thursday lunch time with a one-time offer, giving away 1,000 free pizzas to hungry Mancunians.
Forbici translates to scissors in Italian and every pizza here is cut into quarters with a pair to showcase the puffy and satisfyingly chewy crust.
They also hosted a launch party in the evening, and invited Mancunian Matters to get a taste of their take on Neopolitan style pizza, with 12 hour fermented dough and toppings inspired by iconic Northern flavours – such as their Lancashire hot pot special.
Forbici are now open for business at 86 Cross Street.
