Manchester Food and Drink Festival announce 2015 Awards shortlist

Manchester Food and Drink Festival has announced the shortlist of nominees for its 2015 award categories, representing the most prestigious food and drink awards in the region.

This year awards will be presented in 11 categories, with all nominees selected by the MFDF Judging Panel, made up of the region’s leading food and drink critics and experts.

The awards provide a benchmark for excellence in the hospitality industries throughout Greater Manchester and the winners will be announced at a gala dinner in September.

Two London newcomers, steak restaurant Hawksmoor and Spanish restaurant Iberica, lead the nominations which are as follows: –

This year’s judging panel comprises food experts from across the region and members of the public are also being encouraged to vote for their favourite.

The public’s votes will be combined with scores and mystery visits, made between the announcement date and the Gala Dinner on September 21 at Manchester Cathedral, where Harvey Nichols will be creating the menu.
