Pineapple and mango flavoured JUPA ale set to make Mancunians go bananas at UK Tour launch

Northern beer fans – wait for it – Five Points Brewing Company’s JUPA is back after a successful debut earlier this year in Leeds.

Mancunian ale lovers will go bananas when Smithfield Market Tavern hosts the JUPA (Juicy Pale Ale) launch on Wednesday November 7 .

Brewed with bold refreshing flavours of pineapple and mango, it’s little wonder Five Points wanted to welcome a new beer into their permanent range for the first time in two years.

“With JUPA we wanted to push the envelope of the Pale Ale and put our own signature on it,” said co-founder and managing director Ed Mason.

“We played with all sorts of hop varieties and brewing techniques and ended up with a profile and flavour that’s truly unique.”

Easy to drink, sessionable and packed with hops, JUPA bursts with tropical and citrus fruit notes to provide a refreshing first gulp that finishes with a mildly bitter kick.

This beer is brewed with US hops for bold tropical fruit flavours, as well as wheat and oats for a full body.

Available in a vivid coral coloured can, JUPA will find its place in the Hackney-born Five Points core range of five beers and the eagerly awaited brew will be available in a 330ml can for £2.60.

Five Points will bring the tropical flavours of JUPA to life by hosting a series of events and tap takeovers in key cities across the UK such as London, Manchester, Brighton and Liverpool, where they’ll be giving away 25 free pints of JUPA along with a range of prizes.
