Eight places to celebrate Dry January in Manchester this month

Taking part in Dry January 2024? We’ve got you covered.

Following a month or two of booze-fuelled Christmas celebrations, many people approach the new year with a renewed resolve.

The Dry January campaign is an ideal opportunity for those looking to reset and cut out the alcohol for a while.

According to Alcohol Change, 86% of Dry January participants save money, 70% have better sleep and 66% have more energy.

With sober culture in Manchester on the rise, we’re bringing you some of the best alcohol-free events and menus in town to help you on your way this January – without missing out on the legendary Manchester party scene.

Love From

Initially launched as a temporary two week pop up at Kampus in 2023, Love From proved so popular that they are extending their Manchester offer.

They will be staying at Kampus until March 2024, offering a solely alcohol-free drinks menu along with various events and creative workshops.

You can find out more about Love From here.

AF.ter Party

AF.ter Party has teamed up with Karl Considine from Love From to host a Dry January motivational celebration on 21 January.

With TEDx speaker and podcaster Jamie Lee Grace in attendance, it promises to be a feel-good afternoon from start to finish.

This charming bar is located on the corner of Manchester’s iconic Sunlight House.
