Liam Gallagher has been announced for Parklife – and he’s claiming the festival will be ‘biblical’.
The Oasis frontman will headline the two-day music extravaganza set to take place at Heaton Park in June.
Performing alongside the likes of Skepta, N.E.R.D and The xx, Liam’s been hyping the annual event since the line-up was revealed on Tuesday.
One tweet simply read: “Parklife mcr gonna be BIBLICAL as you were LG.”
The Burnage-born legend later added: “Afternoon brothers n sisters some lovely gatherings this year look forward to singing screaming n shouting for you all as you were LG.”

Earlier today eager fans pounced at the opportunity to attend the festival when presale tickets went on offer.
Parklife co-founder and Warehouse Project boss Sacha Lord-Marchionne said he’d been left ‘speechless’ by how popular the first batch had been.
In a post to his 52,000 followers on Twitter, he wrote: “I mean……speechless. By far the best Pre sale since @Parklifefest began.
“Might stand at the entrance of Heaton Park and hug all 80,000 of you individually. Manchester nightlife is strong. As you were X #Parklife #Manchester.”
LINE-UP: A who’s who of the music industry will be there
The general sale will open on Thursday, February 1 at 9am, with tickets available from Ticketmaster and the Parklife website.
Tickets cost £109.50 for a weekend ticket and £65 for a day pass, with VIP packages also available.
Check out Titanbet bonus code for more information, with Parklife set to welcome a number of world-famous artists, including Lorde, Jamie xx, Eric Prydz and Annie Mac.
It will be the eighth instalment of the event, which started modestly on Platt Fields Park in Fallowfield in 2010.
The festival moved to Heaton Park in 2013, where it will take place this year on Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10.
