Happy Mondays singer-songwriter Shaun Ryder has hit out against his former manager in bizarre circumstances on popular social media site Twitter.
The 52-year-old accused ex-boss Warren Askew of ‘throwing his toys out the pram’ after withholding the login details of his official account, which boasts over 21,000 followers.
The pair recently parted ways due to Ryder hiring new management, and his new account has gained nearly 4,000 followers in just over a week since the fallout.

Ryder, who recently reunited with Mark Berry – aka Bez – for a series of small gigs with their rock band Black Grape, used the hashtag #getmytwitterback yesterday to raise awareness for his cause.

It appears the pair separated on bad terms, with Black Grape set for an extensive tour of the UK over June and July.
The band are due to play Manchester Academy on July 3.
