Generating a great deal of interest in the UK music scene, up-and-coming Mancunian quartet Embers will be headlining for the first time in Manchester next month.
Promoted by Now Wave, extra visual effects and musicians will join forces with the group to intensify their powerful set at Sacred Trinity Church in Salford on July 11.
Formed late in 2011, the young indie rock band consists of George Agan (vocals and guitar), Will Clutton (bass and keyboards), Steve Mclnerney (guitar) and Nathan Howard (drums).
Achieving an exceptionally accomplished sound for their comparatively short time together their creation is immensely complex layering haunting choral harmonies, with gentle violin, rich cello, crisp piano and electronics.
With massive build-ups in each track they interpret an immersive, euphoric and cinematic experience which is replicated in their live performances.
Ambitiously the band incorporates as much attention to detail into imaginative accompanying videos as to the songs themselves.
Receiving unprecedented reviews for Sins Unknown, Hollow Cage and Part Of The Echoes, plus increasing their set list, Embers are hoping to release a debut album by the end of the year.
Considering the grandiose noise they are producing it is unbelievable that the band is presently self-funded.
Embers will be headlining two UK concerts this summer and The Killing Moon Stage at Underground Festival later in the year:
July 8: Sebright Arms, London
July 11: Sacred Trinity Church, Salford
September 28: Underground Festival, Gloucester
Tickets for the Sacred Trinity Church performance are available from See Tickets.
