Earning a reputation as one of the UK’s most extreme live bands around, hard thrash metal band Baby Godzilla are set to unleash their auditory pandemonium on Manchester.
The four piece have been wreaking havoc and destruction up and down the country all year; supporting Enter Shikari, The Wildhearts, Black Spiders, as well as playing Dot to Dot.
Rapidly gaining a cult following and support from Kerrang! they have also recently been screened on Scuzz music channel and will be performing at Manchester Sound Control on November 25.
With a sound that can only be defined as intense loud noise played hard and fast, the band have released a series of EP’s since the beginning of the year as well as debut single Don’t Touch That Dial.
The somewhat insane accompanying videos have been described by Kerrang! as disturbing and gross which involved the bands rapid consumption of a series of shots then repeatedly vomiting.
Meanwhile, Don’t Touch That Dial contained the quartet hooded then taped up whilst humorous torture style chaos commenced from men wearing gas masks and small black underpants.
Their recent slot at the Crossfire Halloween Massacre in association with Vans at the beginning of the month ended in havoc.
Only four songs were played before the set was cut short due to overzealous usage of the lighting rig being used as a climbing frame for both the band and fans alike. This destroyed power cables resulting in the owners pulling the plug on the sound system to avoid further carnage.
After about an hour the event continued minus the remainder of the set however partygoers didn’t seem to mind.
The band are becoming renowned within the UK heavy metal scene for spending as much time playing in the crowd or climbing the set as performing on the stage itself.
