Ellie Goulding is a woman on the rise.
Following huge success in America and a flurry of festival performances, she has returned to the UK for a ten-date run of gigs – coming to Manchester not once but twice.
After a string of hits from her acclaimed second album Halcyon, Goulding managed to claim her first number one single last month with Burn and shows no signs of slowing down.
After appearing alongside Taylor Swift on her Red Tour and collaborating with Calvin Harris, she is soon to release her repackaged album Halcyon Days, which features Burn as well as a number of new songs.
In 2014 she is to embark on an arena tour, which is set to solidify her status as one of the biggest music stars in the country.
Her visits to Manchester’s O2 Apollo on October 11 and October 18 can be expected to bring with them huge amounts of energy, a superb, lively show and MM predict to hear fan favourites Anything Could Happen, Starry Eyed and Lights.
