Louis Tomlinson’s mum marked the four-year anniversary of her heartthrob son’s Manchester X Factor audition with a proud tweet today.
Johannah Darling reminisced about taking her megastar son Louis, then just 18, along to the audition where he was catapulted from obscurity to becoming one-fifth of global phenomenon One Direction.
She tweeted: “4 years today I took my boy to Manchester for an audition. I can remember how humble & thankful he was when he got 3 ‘Yes’. Adore him.

The Doncaster Rovers co-chairman serenaded judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Nicole Sherzinger with Hey There Delilah by The Plain White T’s.
After securing three all-important ‘yes’s he was through to the other rounds where he was eventually teamed up with Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Harry Styles.
The loving tweet comes just 24 hours after Louis snuck into a Manchester University graduation to support his girlfriend Eleanor Calder as she collected her certificate at Whitworth Hall.
