Santa Claus and his merry helpers from the 100th Salford Scout Group visited streets in the local community last night to raise funds.
Winter may be the season most people lock themselves away in their warm houses with a mince pie but not this Scout group who take to the streets of the local area each year.
Alongside Santa they dance, sing and spread a bit of Christmas cheer come rain or shine across two weeks in December.
The sleigh is hard to miss, adorned with hundreds of flashing lights as volunteers go door to door letting people know Santa is in town and collecting donations.
