Since 1982, the indoor market Afflecks has been entertaining shoppers in Manchester with its weird and wonderful products.
Located just off from Piccadilly Gardens in the Northern Quarter, it is set within an old Victorian department store adorned with mosaic artwork on its exterior.
Within its walls lies a maze of peculiar and outlandish independent stalls, bursting with original content.
Yet despite being in a world of high street doom and gloom, it still attracts thousands of visitors every week.
Indeed business is booming with multiple expansions and new start-ups setting up shop.
The market has a simple message, “anyone who thinks they could be the next Affleck’s success story is encouraged to get in touch and join the waiting list”.
