Blurred Lines singer Robin Thicke is being mercilessly trolled by Twitter users who have hijacked an #AskThicke webchat – the jibes have proved so popular it’s now trending in Manchester.
Users are bombarding the VH1 chat hashtag with references to the 2013 summer hit featuring Pharrell Williams and T.I. that some users have dubbed ‘misogynistic’ and a ‘rape anthem’.

An OBJECT spokeswoman submitted the organisation’s question on Twitter, and asked: “Do you have any plans for songs or music videos that don’t promote rape or stalking?

The American-Canadian singer also coming under fire on the social networking site for doggedly pursuing his ex-wife Paula Patton.
Last weekend he dedicated a performance at the BET Awards to her and also named his latest album Paula.
