The Lightopia lantern festival has been allowed to stay open despite a tier four announcement for Manchester.
The show returned to Heaton Park early December, just weeks after the government placed the city under tier three restrictions, which have now been upgraded.
A number of social distancing measures were put in place including staggered entry times, a one way system and a no cash policy on all food stalls.
