Manchester’s Pull Up Bar Café hosts a poetry event once a month to support mental health, addiction and homelessness.
Pull Up and Speak is hosted on the last Monday of every month and has been running for two years.
The event covers different topics allowing poets to have their own interpretation on the subject.
Previous subjects have included success, rising, happiness and hope. With the next event on July 29, Pull Up have yet to confirm the topic for their next event.
The event started in 2022 and celebrated its second anniversary in March.
