The clock is ticking to bid for the chance to own exclusive prints of Sir Alex Ferguson signed and handpicked by the man himself.
Bidders have until Sunday evening to place their offers on the prints, in aid of United’s partner, UNICEF.
The prints feature Sir Alex alongside some of United’s most iconic players during the Fergie era including Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes.
The auction is one of a number of events that have been planned marking the anniversary of United’s 15-year partnership with UNICEF, the longest partnership between a sports club and an international children’s charity.
Catherine Cottrell, UNICEF Deputy Executive Director said: “United for UNICEF is a ground breaking partnership and we are thrilled to celebrate 15 years working together.
“The partnership has gone from strength to strength, helping to fund UNICEF’s work so more children can go to school, are protected from abuse and exploitation and have clean water, food and shelter during emergencies.”
The partnership has been enormously successful over the last 15 years, raising more than £3million and helping 3.4million children internationally.
United for UNICEF currently focuses its efforts across six provinces in Vietnam training social workers to highlight children at risk.
They train hundreds of community-based social workers and support the Vietnamese government in developing a national protection system benefitting 57,000 children.
Ms Cottrell added: “UNICEF is reliant on partnerships like this to continue our life-saving work for children across the world so I urge everyone to go online and bid for an exclusive image of a Manchester United hero and at the same time help us support children in Vietnam.”
All funds raised through the auction of memorabilia will go directly to United for UNICEF.
In September, Sir Alex auctioned off a collection of his favourite photographs during his glory-filled reign over the last 27 years, raising a total of £25,000.
