Manchester City’s unfortunate choice of Twitter hashtag is proving too tempting for trolls during a Q&A session with Jesus Navas.
City invited tweeters to send in their questions for the tricky Spanish winger, using #AskJesus.
It didn’t take tweeters long to jump on the opportunity to launch a flurry of Jesus-related jokes.

Some fans even poked fun at Yaya Toure’s recent ‘birthday-gate’ debacle. The Ivorian’s agent, looked set to leave the club after his agent revealed
@Moony_CJ said: “#askjesus did the other @MCFC players remember to wish you a happy birthday or are they too busy eating Xmas dinner?”

#AskJesus I know you’ve got a habit of disappearing and reappearing for a few days, but half a season!? How did you do it?

Dave Phillips said: “#askjesus You’re famous for turning five loaves and two fish into food for the masses. Why couldn’t you do the same with a birthday cake?”
The session bore echoes of when Manchester United defender Phil Jones opened a Twitter Q&A session back in April.
Fans took the opportunity to stick the boot into the former Blackburn player with a tirade of mocking tweets at both his and the club’s expense.
It’s unclear whether the #AskJesus Q&A was a PR gaffe or an ingenious move to drum up some interest for City in the Twitterspere, which it most certainly has.
