Manchester City fans worldwide are going wild for their team’s new home kit, which has been released today.
Made from recycled bottles, each strip has the words ‘We are City’ on the inside of the neck as Manuel Pellegrini’s boys seek to land back-to-back league titles for the first time.

Nike, who make the kit, have used almost two billion recycled bottles in the past four years to tie in with City’s community-first outlook.
@mcfc best get down to the cityshop and pick up the new shirt then 🙂

And Mrs Ross wasted little time on a scorching English summer’s day by hot-footing it down to the store.

City have also announced a five-year deal with car giant Nissan from the 2014/15 season and beyond and the logo will appear on the rear of the ladies’ team strip.
City’s kit launch falls on the same day as Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal gives his first press conference at Old Trafford, while the Manchester rivals are also both off on tour to the United States later this month.
Bookmakers Williiam Hill, who yesterday commissioned a tulip mural to welcome Van Gaal to England, have City above United in the reckoning for outright Premier League honours this coming season at 2/1 compared to 5/1.
Chelsea are their favourites at 15/8.
