A portacabin blaze at the site of Altrincham Football Club’s Moss Lane stadium has been tackled by fire crews.
Manchester Fire crews have since extinguished the blaze.
Crews have extinguished the fire at Altrincham FC and are now dampening down. The fire involved a portacabin under demolition and some wood.

The road was closed in all directions and fire chiefs advised residents to avoid the area after the fire burned for approximately half an hour.
We’re dealing with a fire involving a portacabin at Altrincham FC. There’s lots of smoke as the cabin contains wood. Please avoid the area.

Another Twitter user, Altincham HQ, believes the clubhouse is on fire.
