A motorcyclist has died following a collision in Hattersley this morning.
A 27-year-old man was travelling along Ashworth Lane on a Skyjet motorcycle around 9am when he collided with a car.
The man, who has not yet been named, was seriously injured and died at the scene.
Senior Investigating Officer, Paul Shore said: “We are continuing to investigate this collision where a young man has tragically lost his life.
“We would ask anyone with information to contact police urgently.”
