Greater Manchester has been left shell-shocked after the third youth in a month was found hanged at their home.
Aleysha Rothwell, 16, was discovered yesterday in the Breightmet area of Bolton.
Police cordoned off the area around Aleysha’s house for several hours after arriving at the scene.
The news comes just days after Kyle Darker, 12, was found hanged in his Eccles home.
And earlier this month, Bradley Adams, 15, was also found hanged at home in Higher Blackley.
In a statement, GMP said: “At 3.05pm, police were called by the ambulance following reports the body of a girl had been found at a house on Crossdale Road, Breightmet.
“Officers attended and a 16-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene. At this stage, there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.”
People have flooded social media sites with tributes to Aleysha.
