Dougie Freedman believes his side need to make sure they take their chances this Saturday against Millwall if they are to pick up their first home league win this season.
Bolton Wanderers are still yet to win at home this season and have drawn their last three games at the Reebok 1-1 to the frustration of many Trotters supporters.
Freedman though believes their home fortunes will change once they become calmer in front of goal allowing them to kill off teams.
“I just feel that we need to relax in front of goal when we’re at home then the results will come,” Freedman told his weekly press conference.
“We’ve shown a determination to stop losing games, we now need to finish teams off at the Reebok.”
However they will have to overcome fellow Championship strugglers Millwall and Freedman knows the South London club will offer a tough challenge.
“Millwall have had a few mixed results that just underlines what this division is like,” Freedman added.
“We expect them to be hard to play against.”
The Trotters will be encouraged by the fact that Steve Lomas’ haven’t won in five league games and haven’t won in Bolton since 1973.
There will also be a familiar face in the Millwall ranks as Liam Feeney returns to face Bolton for the first time since returning back to the Den after his loan spell at the Reebok.
Feeney played four games for Bolton this season and Trotters fans will hope the 27-year-old won’t come back to haunt them.
Bolton though will be without Darren Pratley who has got a back problem but they will be able to welcome back Andre Moritz after illness.
