MM caught up with Rochdale defender Michael Rose on Friday ahead of their clash with AFC Wimbledon today. Here’s what Rose had to say…
MM: Best thing about being a footballer?
Rose: Getting to do something you enjoy every day.
MM: Worst thing about being a footballer?
Rose: The weather and being injured.
MM: Who’s your footballing hero?
Rose: Eric Cantona at Man United because I was a United fan.
MM: Toughest opponent you’ve ever faced?
Rose: El Hadji-Diouf.
MM: What’s the last song you bought or downloaded?
Rose: I downloaded the new radio live lounge album this morning.
MM: What’s the last film you saw?
Rose: I don’t go to the cinema.
MM: What would you do if you weren’t a footballer?
Rose: I’d be a film star.
MM: Favourite meal?
Rose: A nice steak dinner.
MM: First car?
Rose: Ford Fiesta.
MM: Final question, if you go for a drink with five celebrities who would you pick?
Rose: David Beckham, Eva Mendes (she’s my ultimate girl), Al Pacino, Robert de Niro and I’d go with Micky Flanagan for a bit of banter.
MM: Thanks Michael.
