Fans of the Manchester Giants are being given the unique opportunity to interact with the club in an innovative way after the launch of an online public forum
The new forum gives fans the ability to raise their views on the club and the team and get responses to their queries from members of the management team.
The monthly question and answer session on the club’s website was introduced last night with club director Graham Herstell and head coach Jeff Jones available to answer question.
Herstell told the club website: “The forum is designed for fans to engage in debate about issues affecting the club and there have been some forthright opinions shared in recent days.
“I gave a response to some points this week on the forum.
“I don’t intend to do that very often as the forum is a place for fans to discuss things freely among themselves.
“But it is also right that people can put points to, ask questions of an receive information from the club.
“Once a month, for an hour each time, I will make myself available, via a thread on the forum, to answer questions and discuss issues and give fans feedback.”
As well as the new forum, Herstell will also be available for fans to talk face-to-face with him and anyone looking to do so should contact him at grahamherstell (at) manchestergiants.com.
The new initiative will be a public forum and so any fans who have general enquiries or want to ask a question privately should use the new ‘ask the Giants a question’ tab on the club website www.manchestergiants.com.
