Gambling firm 12Bet will be Wigan Athletic’s principal sponsor for their 2013/14 Championship campaign after the club announced it would extend their partnership.
The company first teamed up with the Latics in 2011 and have shared some special memories as the club won their first-ever FA Cup trophy.
And thanks to that historic win at Wembley, all those associated with the Latics can look forward to a Europa League adventure next season.
Despite their eight-year stint in the Premier League finally coming to end, 12Bet chief executive Rory Anderson is excited about the upcoming year.
“We are delighted to continue our association with the club and look forward to joining the Wigan Athletic fans on a European tour,” he told the club’s website.
And having sponsored Wigan for two years, the club’s head of marketing, commercial and retail Neil Ryan hopes their good working link will continue.
“We are pleased to have extended our commercial shirt partnership with 12Bet for next season,” he told the club’s website.
“We have had a good working relationship with the brand over the last two seasons and we are looking forward to strengthening it.”
