A gang of racists made abusive remarks to a man who was helping his brother move into his Blackley home and urinated on the victims van and in the garden on September 4.
The 41-year-old man was helping his brother move into the property on Victoria Avenue at around 11.50am and had unloaded furniture out of a van and were moving it into the house when three men approached them
The thugs, who had come from Hill Lane, began rummaging through the boxes and made racist remarks to the man telling him: “You need to get permission from me before your brother moves in.”
One offender then started to punch the man before the other two joined in and one of the men rummaged through his pockets and stole keys to his house and van as well as cash and a mobile phone before leaving.
Detective Constable Louise Edwards, said: “These men are cowardly, racist thugs and I have nothing but contempt for them and their appalling behaviour.
“They verbally and physically assaulted this man in his own garden and clearly have no regard for other people or their property.
“I hope the community will be as shocked by their behaviour as I am and I would urge anyone with information to get in touch.
“The comments they made towards the victim suggest they think they are special and above the law so I imagine they may even have boasted to others about what they have done so if you know anything or have heard anything please call us in complete confidence.”
All three men are described as white and aged around 20-years-old.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
