‘Powerful’ Joe Rogan praised for impact on Donald Trump election win

Donald Trump’s victory speech saw podcaster Joe Rogan hailed for his impact during the election campaign.

Rogan – a hugely-popular podcast host and UFC commentator – recorded interviews with Trump and running mate JD Vance in the past week, amassing more than 60 million total views.

He also hosted Trump-supporter Elon Musk on Monday, which concluded with the podcaster officially endorsing Trump.

Dana White, the boss of mixed martial arts promotion UFC, was invited to speak during Trump’s victory speech this morning, and praised Rogan alongside other internet personalities for their influence on the victory.

He said: “I want to thank some people real quick. I want to thank the NELK Boys, Adin Ross, Theo Von, Bussin’ With The Boys.

“And last but not least, the mighty and powerful Joe Rogan.”

Alongside appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE), Trump also went on podcasts with other internet stars such as the NELK boys, who have more than eight million subscribers on YouTube.

Kamala Harris had reportedly agreed to also appear on JRE, but had demanded the interview was under an hour long which is untypical for a usual Rogan podcast.

Joe Rogan told Musk: “She contacted us and said would you ever have her on and I said yes but they said she’s only prepared to do 45 mins.

“I thought maybe for 45 minutes I could get something out of it but when Trump came and did the three hours I was like this is the only way.”
