Halloween in the City returns for its 2024 edition, where you can expect free events across Manchester.
In addition to the events, rooftops and landmarks all over the city have been taken over by monstrous inflatable creatures.
A total of 16 monsters can be found – most are located in the city centre but others can be found towards Castlefield, Piccadilly, Canal Street and Spinningfields.
The event is held between Friday 25 and Thursday 31 October, with further activities planned on the Saturday and Sunday.
This features a music festival featuring DJs and live performances, games and competitions, carnival rides, fancy dress and parades.
Throughout the weekend there will also be a competition between ‘Team Trick’ and ‘Team Treat’.
You will be able to pick your side and win points through various games and challenges and track your team’s progress at the scoreboard on New Cathedral Street.
Organisers estimate it will take two to three hours to complete the whole events and families can take part as little or as much as they like.
