Christmas market preparations have begun prior to the iconic attraction’s opening next month.
Food stalls and the fan favourite ice rink are among the features already taking shape across the city.
The annual event will feature across nine city centre zones, with Piccadilly Gardens returning as the main hub.
Beyond the main hub, the ski chalet market stalls will also take over Market Street, Cathedral Gardens, Exchange Street, New Cathedral Street, St Ann’s Square, Exchange Square, The Corn Exchange and King Street.
With 200 market stalls expected, foodies can look forward to the return of Christmas staples such as the iconic Yorkshire pudding wraps and traditional German sausages.
The markets will also host an impressive list of international food options featuring the likes of French, Turkish and Austrian cuisine.
The popular ice rink is also set to return to its usual spot outside the National Football Musuem.
The rink will have a fully covered roof to allow skaters to chance their luck no matter the weather, and lessons and skating aids will be also be available.
The market is set to open on 8 November and will run until 22 December.
