Beauty retailer Sephora is continuing its UK expansion and has just opened its third store in Manchester’s Trafford Centre.
There are currently only two other UK stores which are both located in London.
The new store has 5,382 square feet of floor space, which will be full of brands such as Glossier, Makeup by Mario, Haus Labs by Lady Gaga and the extensive Sephora Collection, among many others.
There are more than 3,000 stores in over 35 countries and over 52,000 beauty experts and cast members globally.
Sarah Boyd, the managing director at Sephora UK, said in a statement: “We are extremely excited to bring Sephora to Manchester, one of the most vibrant cities for beauty in the UK.”
At the preview of the store last night, Boyd said: “The team that I have hired in this store are absolutely the best that I have come across anywhere in the world.”
She also confirmed that the future looks bright for the makeup store and there will be more stores coming across the country.
The store will be packed full of beauty and skincare products and makeup and will be a huge tourist attraction for the shopping centre.
The bosses of the brand have also said that it will ‘redefine the beauty landscape in the north with an extraordinary product range that caters to the diverse needs of beauty enthusiasts.’
Shoppers can sit down with professionals for a glam look, new hairstyle or skin treatment.
There is a Sephora lip bar, a Hot on social corner where the top 10 most talked about products on social media are and personalised gifting and gift wrapping.
The store also offers a fragrance engraving service.
The brand has taken to social media in the run up to todays opening to hold competitions.
Staff members hid around the Trafford centre with queue jump tickets and posted their location on their Instagram page.
It was then handed to the first person to find them and collect it off of them.
Some of the prizes of the competition, as well as queue jump tickets, were goodie bags for those attending the store today and tomorrow.
Sephora posted on their Instagram that the first 500 Trafford Centre queue customers on last night’s opening would receive a wristband which will be redeemable for one exclusive goodie bag.
Whilst the contents of the goodie bags may vary; it will feature bestsellers from skincare to makeup and many iconic brands.
The Trafford Centre itself has hung up big Sephora bags on their ceilings to promote the new store and Sephora’s signature stripes are also printed all around the shopping centre too.
Throughout the whole week there will be events going on within the store, entertainment, workshops and giveaways.
