TransPennine Express (TPE) are offering full refunds to those impacted by the delays at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena.
The Co-op Live Area, the UK’s largest indoor arena, was originally due to open back in April.
The arena was supposed to have its third reopening yesterday with rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, but was called off last minute.
Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts World Tour, due to stop by on Friday 3 May and Saturday 4 May, were also cancelled.
TPE is refunding any tickets, including Advance tickets, that have been affected by cancellations to customers who can present their concert tickets as proof.
They will also still run its extra late-night service which had been planned to coincide with fans returning home from Olivia Rodrigo’s Friday night concert.
Darren Higgins, Commercial Director for TPE, said: “We recognise that many of our customers will be affected by postponed events at the Co-op Live arena. We hope the decision to offer full refunds will provide some relief to those who have been impacted.
“Customers wishing to make alternative plans and an evening enjoying all Manchester has to offer can still travel on our planned late-night service.”
The refunds apply to those who purchased their train tickets directly through TPE or Trainline and will be provided without any administration charge.
