Last weekend saw Manchester-based music collective Different Kind of Dough take to the stage for their first live performances.
The group, which is made up of several independent artists, musicians, and producers, hope to “be the change” they want to see in the music industry.
The collective made their headline debut at Zombie Shack last weekend, before performing a Saturday set at Sounds of the Town – a weekend festival inspired by the sounds of Manchester.
Sunday saw Different Kind of Dough run an intimate songwriting workshop, collaborating with the audience to create a track.
Our reporter, Sophie Wareham, caught up with the group after the workshop, to learn more about the group’s ethos, and to find out how the weekend had gone.
