Sixteen inflatable monsters have returned to the city as part of Manchester City Council’s two-day halloween family festival.
There will be numerous events across central Manchester in the coming days for Halloween, culminating in a music festival at the weekend full of live performances, competitions, games and carnival rides.
But beware as gigantic monsters have taken over landmarks across the city, until the weekend only 13 are viewable but three further creatures will appear for the festival extravaganza.
Locations include: Exchange Square, the Gay Village, Victoria station and the AO Arena, the Corn Exchange, Mayfield park and Castlefield Viaduct.

Visitors can also look forward to Walk the Plank’s ‘Monsters Rock!’ procession which will travel down Market Street numerous times across the weekend.
Festivities begin on Saturday in Exchange Square, New Cathedral Street, St Ann’s Square and Manchester Arndale, although the spooky inflatable monsters will be up until October 31st.
