These are the first photos from inside the luxury new 12-storey hotel in Manchester City Centre
‘Residence Inn by Marriott Manchester Piccadilly’ is the latest development in the tourism industry trend of offering fully-equipped accommodation to short and medium-stay visitors.
While the ‘aparthotel’ concept is nothing new in Manchester, it is the first time Marriott International has offered this type of experience in the north of England, adding to their UK portfolio in London and Edinburgh.
The 155-room site is located less than minutes’ walk from one of the city’s most significant transport hubs Manchester Piccadilly station and is scheduled to open on May 1.
It also has easy access to Metrolink and bus services to allow visitors to get to key points of interest around the city such as Old Trafford, the AO Arena and Northern Quarter.
And it seems that the excitement is building around this new venue, designed to attract guests visiting Manchester for both city breaks and longer stays – as demonstrated by it being fully booked from opening night until 5th June already.

The swish aparthotel has room prices starting from £135 per night and visitors will have access to a wealth of amenities, including fully-equipped kitchens as standard, 24/7 gym and laundry facilities as well as an in-house restaurant.
