Manchester United are the second highest spender in the Premier League on player wages, according to a new report.
The Red Devils were found to spend over £211million per year on their players, just £200,000 less than Chelsea.
Man City, with a wage bill of £182m, were third on the list released by online independent casino reviewer CasinoBonusCA.
The amount clubs spent on wages aren’t a direct reflection of the Premier League table – leaders Arsenal spend £80m less on their player wages than Man City and less than half Man United’s budget.
Liverpool (£158m) and Spurs (£110m) complete the top five, with Brentford in last place with £30m.
The highest paid player at United right now is David de Gea with a salary of £19.5m per year.
His team are currently ahead of Manchester City’s most expensive player Kevin De Bruyne, who earns £20.8m annually.
