We Need To Talk: A Jazz Cabaret is coming to the Greater Manchester Fringe festival in July, which tells the story of a LGBTQ+ woman on a search for self-love.
Actor-singer-songwriter Jas Nisic will perform on the 19th and 20th July at the International Anthony Burgess Foundation.
The working-class Mancunian, who directed the show alongside musical director Dave Cavendish, is excited to bring her musical to the stage and tell the story of a manic break up showing the ups and downs on the journey to find of self-love.
Featuring songs from Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Eva Cassidy, and many more, she hopes the musical will inspire the young LGBTQ+ audience interested in musical theatre.
The show is produced by Blue Balloon Theatre, a Manchester based company led by women who act as a platform for creative individuals like Jas to develop and showcase their original work.
As the first member of her family to go to university, Jas is looking forward to proving you can achieve your dreams no matter what.
