Boris Johnson announced from September being double-vaccinated against COVID-19 will be an entry requirement for those attending nightclubs.
The announcement came only hours after clubs were legally allowed to reopen on “Freedom Day” 19th July 2021.
Speaking to a press conference, the Prime Minister said those wishing to go to a nightclub would have to show proof of their double-vaccination status.
Additionally, the Prime Minister also stressed that having a negative test result will not be enough to gain entry.
Therefore, Mancunian Matters spoke to punters in Manchester – on the first Saturday since clubs reopened – to get their reactions to the announcement.
