Bee-come an adoptive parent of a bee and do good for local charities

The Printworks has launched its ‘Adopt a Bee’ campaign to raise much-needed funds for Greater Manchester’s communities.

Home to over 100,000 honey bees, The Printworks is offering a chance to adopt your very own bee in aid of Forever Manchester.

You can now adopt one of the Printworks bees for just £2 – or splash out and adopt one of the four Queen Bees for £25.

This Christmas you can give your loved ones a gift that helps your local communities and get a chance to come up with a unique name for your adopted bee.

Adam Jackson, Marketing Manager at Printworks, said: “It’s been a tough year for everyone, but especially so for our underprivileged communities in Greater Manchester who have been hit hardest by local lockdown restrictions.

“With the bee such an iconic symbol in Manchester, we wanted to give Mancunians the chance to adopt their own or give their loved ones a unique gift that also helps our local community when they need it most.”

Printworks is home to four beehives, each housing between 30,000 and 40,000 bees.
